Colour Trophy 2014

The prestigious L’Oréal Colour Trophy remains the longest running live hairdressing competition in the world. The competition’s ethos remains “Hair Inspired by Fashion” and every year the competition showcases some of the brightest hairdressing talents across the country; not to mention, attracting some of the highest profile award-winning judges in the industry and enticing notable celebrity presenters. In the early days, the competition’s main prize was called the ‘Gold Cup’ and after swiftly capturing hairdressers’ imaginations from the beginning in 1956, the prize evolved into today’s L’Oréal Colour Trophy.  Every year the competition continues to move forward, with new and exciting additions along the way and 2014 will be no exception.

As 2014 marks the competition’s 59th year, the L’Oréal Colour Trophy has been the benchmark of British hairdressing inspiration with its outstanding level of competitive work and its leading selection of judges. Setting a high standard throughout the industry over the years, the competition continues to influence, showcase and inspire.
