Are you looking for hairdressing apprenticeships in Rye, East Sussex?

You will be employed in a full-time position within the salon which provides you with an excellent opportunity to start work as an apprentice hairdresser and to earn as you learn. During your employment, you will recieve ongoing in-salon training as well as studying towards an NVQ (or equivalent) Level 2 in Hairdressing.

Your main focus in the salon is to work with managers and hairdressers to provide high quality service and support for clients visiting the salon.

You will be required to shampoo & condition clients’ hair at the back wash area, and, from time to time, you will assist the stylists with mixing and applying hair colour. You also will be punctual, show good attention to detail and you will be consistent in following procedures and instructions.

Duties Include:

  • You will act as an ambassador of the salon at all times
  • Help to provide refreshments to clients and visitors
  • Preparing equipment and materials for hairdressers use
  • Re-filling stocks of frequently used materials
  • Helping to maintain a safe working environment
  • Tidying up and maintaining the image of the salon
