The team at Red Hair Salons in Hastings, Rye and Battle are proud to be able to support Xtrax – starting with Nesrin’s amazing Hastings Marathon run which raised £1,500 for this local well-deserving charity.
Xtrax is an award-winning charity helping young people overcome the challenges of life so they can flourish as young adults.
Whatever the issue, whether it is finding a roof over your head, help with finding the right education or training course, sorting out bills or simply having a chat because life’s becoming a bit overwhelming, Xtrax is there to help young people aged 16-24.
Need a roof over your head?
Xtrax can help find you somewhere to live, speak to the Council or your landlord – and even help you apply for money and equipment to help you set up home!
Benefit or money problems?
Xtras can help you get the right benefits, including making applications or appealing decisions, advising you on the benefits you’re entitled to, and help you make ends meet on the money you have coming in.
Feeling anxious or worried?
Everyone gets down from time to time but sometimes it can all get a bit too much. The Xtras team are experts in finding you the help you might need, whether it be just a friendly chat over a cup of tea, or getting some extra help from some of the people specially trained in young people’s wellbeing.
Want to learn, train or find a job?
Moving on is always a big step and we know it can be daunting. The Xtrax team have helped hundreds of young people find courses that are right for them, develop their skills and get on in the world of work.
